Our Wood Shavings Process
Using the TCR Blue Diamond sawmill machinery together with a triple pass drum, we can produce wood shavings of the highest quality at our purpose built plant in Attleborough, Norfolk.
Equestro Bed shavings are kiln dried to a rigid high standard. There are various methods of drying available on the open market but the use of a rotary dryer is considered the best. Equestro Bed has installed a top of the range rotary dryer. The process ensures each individual shaving is dried to the same standard. The shavings are then cooled before being compressed and wrapped into convenient bales for ease of handling, minimum storage space, and giving you peace of mind.
